Military Pentathlon

The 8th Meeting of the CSC Presidents took place from 27 to 29 January in Rome Castelporziano .

The excellent facilities of the italian "Fiamme Gialle" Sport Club together with  a nice atmosphere made even more intense the annual workshop.

The President Maj Gen Gianni Gola (ITA), the Secretary General Col Alexandr e Morisod (SWI), the Sport Director Lt-Colonel Suzana TKAVC (SLO) together with the Vice President for Europe Col Bengt Nylander (SWE) - special guest for the occasion - gave important guidelines on the future development of CISM.

 

The CISM HQ requested the following special reports from the PCSCs:

-  Situation of Volleyball (Col Jorge Ribeiro - BRA)

-  Football development (LtCol Ayissi Dieudommè - CMR).

-  Military Pentathlon perspectives in Iran, (LtCol Alessandro Trono - ITA).

 

Other important issues were:

- the presentation of the Cadets Games to be held in Ankara (October 2010) given by the TUR CoD LtCol Cerit.

- the presentation of the 2011 WMG given by Col Mauro Secco and Col Jose Paschoal (BRA) 

 

Finally the Edition 2010 of the rules and the requests of certification of CISM Rekords (Obstacle Relay men and Women)  have been delivered to the CISM Sport Department for the approval. (See drafts)
